Mechanical & HVAC engineering
Heating, ventilation and cooling account for the largest share of most facility budgets and nearly all of the comfort complaints. We evaluate what you have, tell you honestly how much life is left in it, and lay out the replacement or repair path that fits your operating reality.
Work covers packaged rooftop systems, chilled water plants, boilers, air handling units, exhaust and make-up air, and building automation sequences.
Scope includes
- Equipment inventory with nameplate and age capture
- Cooling and heating load verification
- Chiller, boiler and RTU condition evaluation
- Ventilation rate and IAQ compliance review
- Control sequence and setpoint audit
- Repair-versus-replace economic comparison
You receive
- Photographic equipment register
- Condition and remaining-life scoring
- Prioritised action list with cost ranges
- Replacement staging plan by fiscal year
- Draft specification language for bidding

Electrical systems & controls
Electrical documentation is the first thing to fall out of date and the last thing anyone wants to be missing during an incident investigation. We rebuild the picture: what is installed, how it is fed, where the capacity headroom sits and what the incident energy actually is at each point of work.
All studies are performed or reviewed by licensed professional engineers within our specialist network.
Scope includes
- Service and distribution equipment survey
- Single-line drawing verification and redraw
- Short-circuit and coordination study
- Arc-flash incident energy analysis (NFPA 70E)
- Panel labelling and boundary marking
- Standby and emergency power readiness check
You receive
- Updated single-line drawing set
- Study report with calculation appendix
- Printed arc-flash equipment labels
- Load growth and spare-capacity summary
- Maintenance staff briefing session

Energy audits & measured savings
We perform ASHRAE-aligned Level I, II and III audits. The difference between our reports and a vendor's proposal is simple: we start from twelve to thirty-six months of billing data, we measure on site, and we show the arithmetic behind every claimed saving.
Where Florida utility incentive programs apply, we prepare the documentation package so the rebate application does not stall.
Scope includes
- 12β36 month utility bill and demand analysis
- Benchmarking against comparable facility types
- On-site measurement and spot metering
- Measure-by-measure savings calculation
- Simple payback, NPV and lifecycle costing
- Utility incentive and rebate documentation
You receive
- Full audit report to ASHRAE format
- Ranked measure table with payback
- Rebate application support pack
- Measurement and verification plan
- Post-implementation savings verification

Warehouse & logistics engineering
Most distribution sites can move materially more volume through the same footprint. We measure the actual flow β not the theoretical one β and redesign around it: slotting, aisle geometry, dock scheduling, lighting levels and ventilation.
Recommendations are ranked by cost to implement, so you can act on the free changes this month and budget the rest.
Scope includes
- Travel-path and pick-cycle time study
- Slotting and velocity analysis
- Racking configuration and aisle geometry review
- Dock door throughput and staging assessment
- Lighting level and controls survey
- Ventilation and heat-load evaluation
You receive
- Annotated layout drawings, current and proposed
- Throughput improvement projection
- Phased implementation plan
- Lighting retrofit scope and payback
- Safety and traffic separation recommendations

Compliance, safety & reporting
Insurers, lenders, regulators and corporate parents all want the same underlying thing: evidence that the facility is understood and maintained. We assemble that evidence in a format each audience accepts.
INGG provides engineering documentation and advisory support. We are not a law firm and do not issue legal opinions or code interpretations in place of the authority having jurisdiction.
Scope includes
- OSHA 1910 general industry facility walkthrough
- Life-safety and egress documentation support
- Equipment register and maintenance record review
- Insurance and lender due-diligence surveys
- Preventive maintenance program design
- Vendor scope and contract review
You receive
- Findings register with severity ranking
- Corrective action plan with owners and dates
- Inspection-ready documentation package
- PM task schedules by asset class
- Annual re-review option

Capital planning & asset strategy
A capital plan is only useful if finance believes it. We build asset registers with real condition scoring, forecast replacement years, attach cost ranges with escalation, and present the result in a format that survives a budget committee.
Plans are delivered as a working spreadsheet as well as a report, so your team can update them without calling us back.
Scope includes
- Full asset inventory and tagging
- Condition assessment and RUL scoring
- Replacement year forecasting with escalation
- Cost range development by asset class
- Risk-weighted prioritisation
- Scenario modelling for constrained budgets
You receive
- 5-year and 10-year capital forecast
- Editable asset register spreadsheet
- Executive summary for board presentation
- Risk register for deferred items
- Annual update service option

What engagements typically cost
Ranges below are typical for single-site work in our core service area. Every proposal is a fixed fee against a written scope β you will never receive an invoice you have not already agreed to.
| Engagement | Typical range | Turnaround |
|---|---|---|
| ASHRAE Level I energy audit, single building | $2,400 β $4,800 | 2β3 weeks |
| ASHRAE Level II audit with measure modelling | $6,500 β $14,000 | 3β5 weeks |
| Arc-flash and coordination study | $4,500 β $18,000 | 4β6 weeks |
| Mechanical condition assessment | $3,200 β $9,500 | 2β4 weeks |
| Warehouse throughput and layout study | $7,000 β $22,000 | 4β6 weeks |
| 5-year capital plan, portfolio of 3+ sites | Quoted per portfolio | 6β10 weeks |
Ranges are indicative only and do not constitute an offer. Travel beyond 250 miles, expedited scheduling and specialist sub-consultant scopes are quoted separately and stated in the proposal.
